Green Broadbill

A very sad ending of these bird nesting, the newly hatch chick die due to hunger because one guy wanted to captured the feeding, he push up the leafs that covering the nest. That makes the parent refused to go back to feed the chick. The chick die of starvation. 

btw! all were shots with double x1.4 TC.

This is what I hate, there are always people who would do such a thing for personal gain, if not to show off. If you guys ever see the pictures or video being shown, posted or exhibited, please inform everyone, we will then watch out for the culprit in future !!!!
This specie is not like the Swift that notices nothing even when you walk below its nest, it is a pretty rare bird that builds a low hidden nest !!!!!

Nice capture. And so sad to hear about the death of the chick.
