Thanks.... I am using Panasonic FZ-100 Superzoom 24 x (equivalent to 600mm)..... so its PnS Macro power, yeah! Yeah, I get very close to the bird.... taken within 1 meter range.........

hahaha....... I can only tell you...... my distance to take the photo is within 1 meter, but my distance of me to the bird is 0cm........... adolph knew the answer, so shhhh....... hang their appetite for a little bit longer first.......

When it hopped in, too thick to get full bird, only the eye......

Thanks...... it is sad that it is us (the uni) which took over their habitat causing them to crash land into our building, luckily my colleague found it and picked it up, soon got out of stunned mode and get flying around his room, I caught it back check for injuries and released..... very fierce, keep bitting my fingers as I was transiting it to a nearby secondary growth.

Unlucky the uni took over their habitat, lucky is caught by you and not some orang asli (bird eater).

here in the uni where got orang asli la..... this is ex-mining land, orang city adalah....... hahahahaha.......
By the way, this wasnt the first rescue, quite a number of birds were dead after being rescued, one good example of survival is the first that I knew, a Chestnut-winged Cuckoo with a broken wing, that was a success as the bird recovered and fly off. Many others does not share the same fate, many are dead soon after their rescue.....
