Ya, I haven't gotten all the breeding or not breeding colours nor the white version of the pacific reef.
So, I still have a few more to get after all.

Dear Dave,
These were taken from Batu Kawan, Penang. shot back in September - October 2010.
I've not been back there recently, so I'm now sure if they are there this time.

Good effort! Never seen the Pacific Reef before. Is it common there?

I think they are quite common.
They are normally found along beaches, rocky shores or island.
I think they prefer saltwater :p

Yeap.... Pacific Reef Egrets are reasonably common along the coast, preferring rocky shores than beaches. And one point is that it is much of a loner, does not like to group up like some other egrets do, but of course at the coast, the Chinese may also lurk in the winter, care is much needed to differentiate a white morph Pacific Reef and a wintering Chinese.
