Egrets in breeding plumage

Egrets can be found in great numbers at the paddy fields in Penang during the migratory season. I managed to capture all the species found here except for the Great Egret in breeding plumage last season.

Little Egret

nice..... this degree of Intermediate Egrets breeding plumage does not seemed to be commonly seen in the country....... especially when bill turned black....

It is nice to have shots of them at different 'seasons' of the year. To some people, like me, we might have identified them wrongly without shots like yours. Thanks for sharing.

hehehehehe but for me, I also managed to identify single birds now.......... my first Intermediate Egret is in my own neighborhood, luckily with Little Egrets, or else very high chance misidentified as Great.....
