agree on first one, the CHE is juvenile.
Where did you get the second one? location? habitat? date? I had some odd feeling about this bird. If this is inland, still Little Egret, but possible younger adult?

Got it at a Port Dickson yesterday, habitat? Wetland.....

Got it at a Port Dickson yesterday, habitat? Wetland.....
har? Port Dickson at the coast? then really need send expert in give comments, I saw features of Little Egret and some probably from Chinese Egret here...... mainly because of the yellowish tarsus and rather biggish eyes and some feather signs at the nape, but Chinese Egret dont usually have such a black bill, so Im confused too....

no no no, not coast,i found it at fresh water wetland....

no no no, not coast,i found it at fresh water wetland....
then likely an odd variation of Little Egret la..... I had also seen once one of them, probably younger, had slightly yellowish leg rather than black like the rest.
