Yes, come with bag.

I think the latest Nikon Sporter is good enuf for spotting birds...

The last time I tested it out, it is reasonably light in weight and the price is not really that expensive as compared to Nikon Monarch.

Im actually trying to sell my yukon 30 x 50 water resistant monocular - like Jack Sparrow;s one lah...water resistant, with screw on for tripod and very handy plus lightweight for your small backpack.
Its new...only used it on and off to look @ Petronas Twin Tower's majestic top when the mist rises up - used it from my dining hall...it has a powerful 30 x magnification....
Got it as a birthday present...optics are made in the former russian state BELARUS and NOT made in china.
