Very nice.... Worth the effort...

Such a difficult bird specie to find, and you have got so many good pictures of them. The female looks so friendly. How many days and hours in total did you take to capture these ?
I had to go for a massage just after two days, so short of sleep, and so far to travel to, not to mention the number of hours spent in the cramped hide.

Thanks adrian. total spending traveling distant to track them down. hmmmm I think it's over 2500km> hahahaa

Spend 60>70hrs in the hide. it's so hard to predict which angle the bird going to come out. it's all sweat, sleep & wait.

ps: it's was a very good experience. these Banded Pitta makes me understand them more. I felt  it could help me to find other birds using the same method.

Ng! actually the lighting was pretty bad. shots were taken at 1/5-1/20, ISO1250/1600. F6.3/7.1

I would say all the pain are well worthy after seeing them out of the green.

OMG。。。。all is Killer shoot....My next Target...hehe

Excellent set in their natural environment. That's a lot of hours in the hide, must have a massage chair and fridge inside
