Stork-billed Kingfisher
actually it was not a plan trip to shoot birds there. I only have 2 hrs to spare with my family in the zoo before going back to KL. during our exit to the main gate these SBKF were perching there like no body business, it was just few ft away. During that time I did not have any tripod with me so I handheld to snap a few shots.

Jeffery, I think this forum board doesn't allow pic resolution exceeding 800x600, hence the tail was chopped off.
I need to find this fella... never see it with my eyes
any hints where to find it? don't ask me to go to S'pore.. ehehehe

Hi, as far as I know, for those using handphone or iPhone to view any forums, the right side of the image will cut off.
for PC user, no prb at all.
I can see the whole bird with his tail on my Notebook and PC.
cheers,

I walk around where the bird perch to find a better BG and also the sun was so strong that day. I notice some area has harsh hot-spot. So I avoid those.
btw! I notice that too when using BB to view the thread
