Green Sandpiper? Empty Green Sandpiper?

Hi all Sifus here, is this the Green Sandpiper? Found it alone and in a paddyfield. Thanks.

Yup, agreed with Nelson, this is Wood Sandpiper, Green Sandpiper looks more like Common Sandpiper in its looks.

Thanks both. I thought it was Green Sandpiper as I could not see the white supercilium extending beyond the eyes.

That is a right feature to look for but first the bird itself should look like a Common Sandpiper first....

Wish I was still 18 and have photographic memory LOL. My only distinctive ID for common Sandpiper would be the bobbing tail..... Guess the other common feature would be the short legs compared to other species.

haha, ya, Common Sandpiper is the one that would always bob its tail, the upperparts are more sandy brownish with some scale like textures.
