Birding with a macro lens
At last, I've managed to go birding with a 70mm macro lens (35mm + 2X).
This is the result, second shot was taken with a 50-200mm.
What is the distribution for this fella?
According to Robson, the go up to 1,100m.
But this fella was shot in Genting Highland, which I think is much higher.

Love yr first pic of angry bird, the composition, texture & richness in color. Will make a beautiful poster.
Btw, can you find this bird in Cameron?

God's timing.
It was scheduled for release that day by the care taker.
I was given the honour to release it back to the wild.
Of course, it did not immediately fly off and I've taken my share of his portraits.

Yup, I was surprise too when he brought it out for release.
Hope it will stay there and get its adult's plumage.
More? Of course there are more. How to let pass a rare opportunity like this.
These are just teasers, will post more when selected.
Re: Birding with a macro lens

Thanks Alpan
I wish that too, but I've not posted or join any of their site to catch their attention.
