Blue-tailed Bee-eaters (Highkey)

Previously on my posts of the Blue-tailed Bee-eater on green background.
Now trying it with a light background (high key shots).
Some may not like it. But what the heck, it something different.

Ok, last 1 looks like its got some serious dust bunnies.
But that are actually the logs and grass brush in the background (call it BOKEH lah).

You can get this fella in KL too.
Just go to the SMART retention lake (Taman Desa, OKR), surrounding the lake are some open grass habitat.
They are there always.

There are some problems though.
1) The some of the trees are rather high and they are perching at the top, but they do come to the lower trees.
2) You cannot use your cars or trucks as mobile hide.
3) That areas has just recently acquired some heavy duty fencing. But they also venture outside of the fenced area.

Not one said bird photography was easy ;P
