Another attempt at cleaning up a messy background

The background in this pic is rather messy so I tried to clean it up
and try to make the bird stand out more.
Comments please and tips on how you would tackle this job. Thanks.

Actually 1st one is good.. it is habitat shots..... can show the bird with the place..... of course the 2nd picture will be more stand up the bird and sharp.... but it not easy to do this... still can easy too see the problem from the leg....... and seem like bit not so nature from the perch of the bird stand and behide .... not really mix it...

Do hope any expert can suggest it...

agreed. the habitat shot is better.
