Pigeon Babies

Found this nest before CNY, on Day 1 Daddy with 2 babies in the nest,

Day 2 when I was there, nothing is inside the nest!!! But luckily I found it near to the nest perching outside, again with Daddy.....

Mummy is night shift one, and they get back to the nest ready..... then I balik for CNY, supposed to be fledged by now.....

Hard to find good angles to take photo, too many blockage of the foliage, ready tried my best......

Rabbit babbies la.... they are born last year...... haha, and even for now still rabbit, not until 4th February after 6.30............

Ya..... usually only passerines build sophisticated nests.....

this species probably nest more than twice a year.......... the Little Heron and Swiftlets had longer nesting cycle and yet managed to breed 3 times a year, so this one likely can nest more times...... haven study much of nesting cycles of birds yet....
