Bornean Whistler
Sir JYTOU,
I think the ID should be right. Correct me if it is wrong ID.
Taken at Kinabalu Park, near Liwagu but legs with tag on.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Tou, is it possible to know which country put on the tag despite the number on tag? Let say by the tag color.jytou wrote:nelson khor wrote:In KK one complain is sometime you got the bird with tag.....

erm........ let me guess...... probably tagged in Sabah, Malaysia......
Actually there are color schemes to show when and where it is tagged but you need to let the taggers identify themselves, but these are residents, so they are tagged locally, or probably from adjacent areas like Sarawak, Brunei or Kalimantan. It is more helpful in migrants, in waders, they use a very big color tag so that it can be seen from far with 2 color schemes on each, since these are hard to approach.

Re: Bornean Whistler
The forktail should be Bornean Forktail.
