Very lousy pic for ID. TQ!
This was taken on 18th June 2011 at Old Pumphouse road, Genting.
The picture is really bad, out of focus and the background makes it worse.
the bird looks like some kind of babbler with white supercilium and black brow. Rest of bird looks brownish.
Bird size is slightly smaller than the usual bulbul. Hope this is enough for ID.
Sorry no other picture. Mr.Tou and all sifus here pls help. TQ! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Hahaha.... honestly, this is definitely not very sufficient, but I agree this looked like a Babbler, from such limited view, maybe something like an Abbott's Babbler or so.
Anyone knew the rough altitude for the Old Pump House? Thanks.

hey thanks...very fast response. ..the camera back focused as you can see. so you think it's abbott's? No idea how high pumphse road is. rough guess would be 1000meters?

Could be other species as well, I need to check what are the potential suspects first based on the altitude, from your eyebrow description, Abbott's is first to pop into my mind, but could probably be others as well, provided that the altitude may be quite high. Thanks.

Hmmmm...I think that is very likely, grey-throated sounds good...too bad for me then, no lifer.
Thank you so much.
Next up would be some waders I got which are really hard to ID (for me at least). But I am sure it would be easy for
the many sifus here. thks again.
