What Myna of this ?

Got it at Juru low land / Open area... Last week
Saw two and join with Jungle and Common Myna

Please help for ID ?

hehehe..... obviously you are not Penang kia...... this is Crested Myna, best found in Penang, recently also spread into Penang mainland, this species is previously introduced also to Klang valley but had likely die out, also to Kuching and Kota Kinabalu which it does survive, but if you think of seeing them as LS, you must visit Penang, they are LS there......

Thanks.. but the wing does not have white dot..

agreed, the white band is not seen, either because it oddly kept it under the wing coverts or a weird mutation? melanistic is also a kind of mutation that happens besides the more popular leucistic situations.

Yup..a crested myna. The white on wings sometimes hidden. This fella just reached mainland..maybe first record by Mun,last year i think..

I think not as late as last year, should had been somewhere in 2009 if I am not mistaken, need to check my Suara Enggang, one issue talked about that....
