Banded Bay Cuckoo?

wow, quite a nice shot! Yeap, it is a Banded Bay, it is not easy to see!!

Heard can see it at Ipoh KLT Temple inside near the Lotus pond

can.... but chances of seeing is significantly lower than hearing it........ once, my friend and I near KLT, heard it calling all morning, we scope up scope down scope left scope right, we even change many locations, viewpoint, no means no......... we ended the day with not seeing it...... I often hear them outside my university building, none is seen to date, I had only seen them twice in my garden but heard quite a number of times already...... they are really not the best bird to try to spot, being able to spot it IS quite lucky......

I see.. I saw one time last year at Sedim.. after that... did not see again
