Three species of White and Black bird

This three look similar... but actually not same species.....

Can you guess the name.... from two different Country...

Well.... lets guess........

#1 Let's assume you went to Japan and probably met a Japanese Wagtail or something? Although the full black throat did puzzled me...... a male perhaps for such blackish colorations?? argh... I dono....

#2 Let's hope that this guy had a little bit more personality, maybe a "personata" White Wagtail from Xinjiang or so? Not sure where you went to lately, but probably somewhere North-west in China perhaps as a second country?

#3 This one also looked like #2 wor....... more like a non breeding male "personata" also wor...... "alboides" should have a black back if you think one of this must had been pointing us to that direction?

The White Wagtail complex is going thru a tough split and too many taxas could co-occur in one single country...... its not the best bird for ID.......

beautiful birds. is hard to get close to wagtail. you guys must have spent some time to get them.

You can try wagging ur tail to express friendliness and they may come closer.... ops..... its that for dogs only??

3rd one.. according to the bird guide... the ID is Himalayan Wagtail....

A Himalayan Wagtail is still White Wagtail, "alboides" race....... to me they are so similar to "personata"....... locations helped....

although heavily split, some recent studies are relumping them back into one, possibly only leaving some of the group as distinct species, such as the newly discovered Mekong Wagtail for example, more molecular studies should be conducted to figure the relationship out, the Yellow Wagtail is another wagtail that had a whole bunch of subspecies.....
