THE BORNEO BIRD FESTIVAL
I was there last year with Tze Chien and Sree. Met a lot of members & new friends from Singapore, Sabah and other places.
A very interesting events with lots of happenings. As usual we went 2 days earlier and left a day after the event. We as usual do a lot
of birdings at the RDC forest reserve and surrounding areas.

Another most interesting time I went (if I remembered clearly) was with: NELSON, MAKUS, ALAGAN, ADRIAN, WEEFAR, TZE CHIEN, KEREN & SREE. Did I
leave out anyone? Likewise, I think I bird there more than these 2 times...

IT'S ON AGAIN THIS YEAR!

Tze Chien is no longer around or else he will definately be going. And as usual he will do all the organizing...

I am posting this topic here to find out is there anyone going to this Borneo Bird Festival?
This is a new forum but most of the members are not 'new' but 'seasoned' bird photogs...

The AirAsia fare to Sandakan is very cheap at promo price (13 Oct - RM173.00), * back (18 Oct - RM50.00) - example/as of now.

Hotel & car rental likewise are cheap too... so anyone from this forum is going? Any [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] representatives going?

I have to miss out this year, need to attend DDI course at the date... you guy enjoy.....

Those not yet go to RDC..... you have to go... this is the place lot of bird and enjoy trip... and cheap seafood too.

Roger itself can finish about 2KG+- prawn already.. hahaha

Too bad, have book the Raptor watch in Thai...Sepilok is my target place this year...
